My values in cover dancing are rooted in fun and ✨fantasy✨. If you're not enjoying your performance, then neither will your audience. Expect not only to learn the dance, but also to really perform like your faves. As a dancer, I can be technical in my own way (As much as I can, I dance to counts, not beats lol), but as a coach, I like to prioritize how my students feel when they dance, comfortable and in their element.
